This page is maintained by the team behind The Ezra Table to answer common questions about how your information is handled. It is a plain-language summary, not a legal certification.
What we store
Your email address and display name, the studies you create, the groups you lead or belong to, and the discussion posts you write. We also keep a short log of password changes and reset requests on your account so you can spot anything unexpected.
Who can see your studies
A study is private to you until you share it with a group. Members of a group you share with can read that study and join its discussion. Nobody outside those groups can see it, and other leaders cannot browse your library.
Prayers and reflections
Personal prayers are visible only to you; group prayers are visible only to the group you post them to, or to its leaders when you choose that. Private reflections are stored encrypted: the title and what you write are encrypted by our server before they reach the database, so they are unreadable to anyone browsing the stored data. This is not end-to-end encryption — our server holds the key in order to show your reflection back to you, so we could technically read it. We do not, and reflections are never shared with your group, your church, or used to train AI models.
AI generation
The details you enter when creating a study — topic, passage, audience, tone — are sent to an AI model to draft the outline. Generated drafts are stored with your study. We do not sell your content, and we do not publish it anywhere.
We send account email only: sign-up confirmation, password resets, and group invites.
Deleting your data
You can delete any study or group you own from inside the app. To have your whole account and its content removed, email support@theezratable.com from your account address.
